With the announcement that the restriction of travel across prefectural borders, which had been requested as a measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19, will be lifted on June 19th, Kanosuke Distillery will resume distillery tours as follows:

Scheduled date for tours to resume: Friday, June 19, 2020

◎Precautions to prevent infections
・Please bring and wear a mask.
Please also keep as much distance as possible from other customers within the distillery.
・Alcohol disinfectant is provided at the entrance to the facility.
Please use it to sanitize your hands when entering the building.
・Please refrain from entering the premises if you have cold symptoms, or a fever of 37.5℃/99.5°F or higher, or are accompanying anyone with these symptoms.
Please cooperate with staff as they take your temperature upon entering.
・Disposable plastic cups will be used in the tasting room.

To help prevent the spread of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) in Japan, all facilities at Kanosuke Distillery including the shop and garden will be temporarily closed beginning April 1st until further notice.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we appreciate your understanding and cooperation. A reopening date, including resumption of distillery tours, will be announced via our website, mail magazine, etc.
※The online shop will operate as normal.

A limited quantity of our NEW BORN Kanosuke Distillery Limited Bottle has been made available for purchase on the first of every month from our online store, THE MELLOW SHOP. However, we received much more interest than anticipated, and each month’s supply has sold out within the first one or two minutes.
We deeply apologize to everyone who intended to purchase our product but have been unable to.
Based on this situation, the sales method will be changed to a lottery system as of April 1st, and the purchase limit will also be reduced to one bottle per person.

As the situation changes, we will promptly announce any updates on our website, etc.
The Distillery Shop will remain open, but we ask visitors to use the alcohol disinfectant provided to disinfect hands and fingers when entering the premises.

Komasa Jyozo Co., Ltd. Kanosuke Distillery will begin accepting KANOSUKE OWNERS CLUB applications from January 15, 2020.
「KANOSUKE OWNERS CLUB」is a system in which after applying to join the OWNERS CLUB, a 28-liter barrel will be filled with new make spirit and matured at Kanosuke Distillery for 3 years, after which it will be bottled and sent to the owner.
The final product can be shipped to any location within Japan. Please note that we cannot ship overseas.

More details regarding our Joryu-sai 2019 to be held on Sunday, November 3, have been decided.
Visitors will have a one-day-only opportunity to fill your own bottle from a cask with purchase of “KANOSUKE NEW BORN Hand-Fill Bottle,” don’t miss this chance!
This year we will also be offering complimentary tastings of whisky, gin, and shochu.
At the main venue of Kanosuke Distillery, there will be original cocktails by guest bartenders, a seminar with tasting included, a food court, stage events, and kids events.
At the Hioki Distillery sub-venue, there will be exciting events including last year’s hit sweet potato tasting and “all-you-can-stuff” bags of sweet potatoes to take home, free tours of the shochu production facility, etc.
