Although this year’s Komasa Jyozo Joryu-sai 2020 was cancelled due to the current COVID-19 situation, following the positive reception of the KANOSUKE NEW BORN Hand-Fill Bottle at last year’s event, we will be releasing a limited supply this year as well which will be available by lottery on our Kanosuke Distillery WEB SHOP.

Single malt whisky made with peated malt from the UK, distilled in August 2018 and aged in white oak.

2020.06.18Announcement of Resuming Distillery Tours and Request to Visitors
With the announcement that the restriction of travel across prefectural borders, which had been requested as a measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19, will be lifted on June 19th, Kanosuke Distillery will resume distillery tours as follows:
Scheduled date for tours to resume: Friday, June 19, 2020
◎Precautions to prevent infections
・Please bring and wear a mask.
Please also keep as much distance as possible from other customers within the distillery.
・Alcohol disinfectant is provided at the entrance to the facility.
Please use it to sanitize your hands when entering the building.
・Please refrain from entering the premises if you have cold symptoms, or a fever of 37.5℃/99.5°F or higher, or are accompanying anyone with these symptoms.
Please cooperate with staff as they take your temperature upon entering.
・Disposable plastic cups will be used in the tasting room.
2020.03.31Notice of Temporary Closure of Kanosuke Distillery
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) in Japan, all facilities at Kanosuke Distillery including the shop and garden will be temporarily closed beginning April 1st until further notice.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we appreciate your understanding and cooperation. A reopening date, including resumption of distillery tours, will be announced via our website, mail magazine, etc.
※The online shop will operate as normal.
2020.03.13Method of Online Sales for NEW BORN Kanosuke Distillery Limited Bottles
A limited quantity of our NEW BORN Kanosuke Distillery Limited Bottle has been made available for purchase on the first of every month from our online store, THE MELLOW SHOP. However, we received much more interest than anticipated, and each month’s supply has sold out within the first one or two minutes.
We deeply apologize to everyone who intended to purchase our product but have been unable to.
Based on this situation, the sales method will be changed to a lottery system as of April 1st, and the purchase limit will also be reduced to one bottle per person.
◇Sales method：Lottery after application
◇Application period：First of every month, 10:00 AM～ 5:00 PM
◇Purchase limit：1 bottle
Lottery winners will be sent a URL from which to purchase the product.
Accepted payment methods are cash on delivery or credit card only.

As reported in the media, cases of the novel coronavirus COVID-19 have been spreading. In response, as a precautionary measure, we will temporarily suspend tours of Kanosuke Distillery.
As the situation changes, we will promptly announce any updates on our website, etc.
The Distillery Shop will remain open, but we ask visitors to use the alcohol disinfectant provided to disinfect hands and fingers when entering the premises.
